Who sells Samsung RB215ACPN 33" 20 Cu. Ft. Capacity Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator in Platinum

Description

This Samsung refrigerator features a bottom freezer with Twin Cooling System®, easy access to bottles, convenient reversible doors, an external digital display and ENERGY STAR® compliance. Samsung's Twin Cooling System® controls and generates cooling air for the refrigerator and freezer separately. Airflow between the two stays separate so the freezer air stays drier, while the refrigerator's moisture level stays at 42%-almost 5x higher than single cooling systems resulting in fruits and veggies that stay fresher, longer. Store your bottles and drinks where you can easily grab them. The door bin is perfect for extra deep and tall bottles and also prevents them from falling over. With reversible doors, you don't have to worry about where you place your refrigerator -the handle is easily reversible for right and left-handed users. A convenient external display shows the inside temperatures, when to change the filter, and controls the ice and water dispenser. On top of all this, you'll save money while conserving energy with our ENERGY STAR®-rated refrigerators. Plus, a handy alarm alerts you when the door is left ajar or open too long.

1 out of 5 stars Popping noises on my RB215 Refrigerator

I have had this for three years and have finally had it with the loud popping noises. Sounds like someone is breaking down the front door of the house at night.

I have a unit almost the exact same model and it must be more than 5 years old but it does not work at all. The freezer temperature will not hold. The repair guy has been to the house at least 3 times, maybe more. I rent the house I live in and so the replacement will not cost me anything. However, my landlords have to replace the unit and it's not going to be easy. I completely agree that appliances, especially large ones should be made to last longer than 5 years. It would be better on everyone if they were made to last 15 years and only consumed the amount of energy that they do today. Let's hope that I will get a decent one that keeps me food cold.
