1 out of 5 stars BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
FMH

I am so disappointed. I bought two of these to sit side by side in my garage, one as a refrigeration unit; the other as a freezer. We have a larger family and cook/entertain a lot, and needed the extra space to house our necessities. They LOOKED so lovely, side by side...and for the first year, everything was working out great. Then, I went to open the freezer unit one day after being on vacation for almost two weeks, and the food was no longer frozen!! After pitching conservatively $200-250 worth of lovely frozen meats, seafood, pizzas, ice creams, etc. I called the repair service Frigidaire had recommended in to fix it, assuming due to the age of the unit, it would be an easy fix - not so. He said that the freezer had a "refrigerant leak in the evaporator coil" among other issues with the cooling fluid. To complete this repair, it would cost over $600. Keeping in mind I had already spent $89 for the service call, plus the $250 of lost food, I was pretty upset. I paid around $700 for each unit (plus tax and delivery charges). Net/net, I am at a complete loss.I called Frigidaire back in hopes that they would do something to save face. While their customer service rep was very polite and understanding of my problem, they only offered to cover the parts ($71) while I would be stuck with the labor charge ($551) and then recommended I buy the extended warranty "next time." Not a fair concession. Now I have a side by side, one functional (for now), and one a big, empty, worthless box. I need to get another freezer, but will now be forced to buy another brand, resulting in a mismatched, unsightly pair.More than you need to know. What you DO need to know: DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE!! Never in my life have I heard of a refrigerator or freezer conking out after 13 months!
