Greatest refrigerator I've ever owned

Not only is this refrigerator beautiful and huge, from a capacity standpoint, the "convertible zone" area is the most innovative, and useful refrigeration concept I've ever seen. It has four settings and one of them is called "soft freeze". This is the ideal freezer setting for meats, fish, and poultry that one want to keep frozen. Alternatively, if the owner is one who stores lots of beverages for cooling (i.e., beer, wine, soft drinks, juices) the highest temperature setting for this convertible zone is ideal. I didn't buy my refrigerator from Amazon because I was able to find much better pricing elsewhere with delivery that not only included set up but also removal of my old refrigerator. At the time of this writing I'm only the second person to write a review of this product. I was compelled to write it in large part because the other review was a one star review alleging "false advertising" about the convertible zone. This is simply not true. The product description is crystal clear about the convertible zone. The person who wrote that review simply either didn't read it or didn't understand it. There's no way this is a 1 star product and shame on that reviewer for claiming what he or she claimed.

The Refrigerator is good and functions as per the manual. However, the rating is low for ice maker.1. The ice maker crushes some pieces of ice even in cubed mode2. The ice sometimes spreads out the cup/glass if the mouth is slightly smaller3. Crushed ice make spills the ice all over the floor and makes a mess

False Advertising by Samsung regarding the Samsung RF32FMQDBSR 4-Door Refrigerator with Convertible Zone

Samsung website and retail store displays advertises the "convertible zone", the bottom right door of the refrigerator, as converting from refrigerator to freezer and refers to "fresh food storage". The zone can be set to four temperatures, only one of which--41 degrees--is above freezing. Government and other food safety sites recommend refrigerator temps no higher than 40 degrees, preferably lower. Samsung refrigerator owner manuals recommend setting the refrigerator temperature at 38. The Samsung call center could not address this issue and, after my refusal to give up, suggested that I contact the office of the president which can only be reached by email. After several exchanges of information with that office they finally stated in an email that "the convertible zone is not a refrigerator" and indicated that it could be used to cool drinks which frees up refrigerator space in the top half of the unit. They attached a page from the owner's manual for the unit which mentioned storing drinks in the convertible zone without indicating that the zone was NOT a refrigerator and that other fresh food should NOT be stored there.. This is misleading and dishonest advertising by Samsung. Plus, they made it so difficult to finally get their representative to say that the "convertible zone" could not function as a refrigerator that many consumers would have given up. Fortunately, I was able to cancel my order for the unit. Samsung is not a company that I want to do business with.
