Customer Reviews

1 out of 5 stars I agree run away

I have two of these beverage refrigerators and neither one works. I've had them fixed at my expense countless times. I don't usually leave reviews but I would like to save someone the disappointment of owning one of these useless machines. BTW: The part that is supposed to collect any water from condensation is made of cheap plastic and has cracked and failed every time its been replaced. These units are in a home and were subject to less than normal use since they are in an indoor bar area away from the kitchen.

1 out of 5 stars Run away, not reliable and manufacturer won't stand behind their product

My Marvel under counter fridge worked for 1 1/2 years and then had a sealed system problem. Marvel warranties the sealed system for 5 years but not the labor. Contacted three different appliance repair companies and received quotes from $700 to $850 dollars. Each one said this was a tedious time consuming project. Called Marvel customer service and they stood by their 1 year labor warranty and would not budge, I would be stuck paying the labor. Asked Marvel if they would take their own fridge back and do the repair for me if I paid the shipping and they said no way. Nice way to stand behind your product...not. So if you want a $1,200+ tin, plastic and glass box to try and dispose of after a year or so go ahead and take your chances. Two technicians voiced their opinions about Marvel and said they would not buy one. It's not worth the money and unreliable.

1 out of 5 stars I'm searching for a replacement for my Marvel Beverage Refrigerator

I'm glad I saw these 2 reviews. I thought it was just mine that quit working after less than normal usage. I tried to fix it, but the repairman told me unless I could tell him the model number, there was no point in trying. And guess what, the model number wore off in cleaning, so I'm SOL. So OK, I'm still looking and glad I read these reviews...thanks for the headsup!
