This is European design at its best, and worth every penny. The FFBF280W is a smooth-surfaced bright white fridge without ice-maker, and two pretty brushed steel handles. (You can also get one with an ice-maker and in stainless steel finish - they have fridges in a great variety of sizes for small/odd spaces.) We designed the space to fit the FFBF280W: 75 1/4 tall (!), 27 1/2 wide, and 24 in deep. Installed in our kitchen it is actually less than counter depth. At 13.8 cu.ft. it is smaller than the old 18 cu.ft. fridge - but you can see everything in it - no "science projects" lost at the back. There is plenty of room for three of us. It is Energy Star rated, with a compartmentalized bottom freezer (so all the cold doesn't fall out when you open the door - you select the door or drawer you want to open). The fridge has four door-storage shelves, two sliding plastic crispers, three adjustable glass shelves and an adjustable steel wine rack! So sophisticated. :) The doors come hinged on the right; but they are reversible, and a kit is included. The fridge is tall, slim, sleek, and shiny. It is GORGEOUS. Also - I have never owned a quieter refrigerator. One thing: this fridge has an Evaporator, and a normal part of the cooling operation involves water and/or ice droplets forming on the back wall. Don't panic when you see this (as I did). It's just the way this fridge works. Love this refrigerator! A+.

I had to replace a refrigerator that was 24 inches wide. I chose this one because the website showed the dimensions 24 x 27.5 x 75 inches W x D x H.The refrigerator arrived, but the measurements were actually 27.5 x 24 x 75 inches. 27.5 inches is too wide for our 24-in space. I pulled up the page on my laptop computer. All of the 3 delivery men were present to see that the dimensions were posted on the vendor's page as 24 x 27.5 x 75 inches W x D x H. I called the Vendor to say I could not accept the product. He was extremely rude. He did not apologize. In fact, he insisted that 24 inches is the interior measurement. I responded that the webpage does not state "interior" dimensions. During the telephone call, the "W x D x H" was removed from the page. I told the Vendor I could not accept the product. The vendor told me that he would charge me 10%. I told him I would not pay for something that is not as advertised. The Vendor raised his voice and threatened to charge me 100%.This is unprofessional behavior. For this reason, I suggest that you avoid this seller.

we love the unit....looks wonderful, nice and talk, skinny. On the negative, we do buy alot of frozen foods, so it is a bit small for us, I am working on changing my buying habits ....we had to reverse the handle and you MUST lay it down to complete, the directions are lacking but we did it....The worst was the shipping dates. it took 5 weeks to get, so we had lost the excitement of "the new fridge is coming" What worried me the most was the size of the space needed to put the unit into. we have 31" and it needs all that space, if you want to open the freezer door to pull out the bins....would I buy it again...Yes, it is modern looking, we bought white...matchless our new farmers white sink front and the dishwasher, so the whole thing is pretty cool :-)
