Go Navy!

Due to space constraints, we have to purchase "counter-depth" refrigerators, and Samsung is the only manufacturer that sells full-featured versions. This is my second. The first one did the same. What a royal piece of junk. You want to restore the defrosting tradition in the family? Buy this! Only, you'll be defrosting the non-frozen section of the fridge. Yes, that's right. Freezing water in the produce drawers, and freezing sections up the entire rear.Beware. Don't buy. Junk alert.

Disappointed

We have the narrower version of this 'fridge. It had been in use in our home for 21 months. Over the last two months we have noticed water accumulating under the produce drawers and freezing there. We have cleaned it out a couple times, checking to make sure that it wasn't just condensation or something spilled but it keeps coming back. I called Samsung. Warranty on everything but the closed compressor system is only 1 year. They would be glad to sell me a service program to get it fixed, but I maintain that an expensive refrigerator should not have a blocked drain that is apparently expensive to fix (whole back of the fridge needs to be disassembled) after less than 21 months. Our old SubZero had this problem as well - when it was almost 20 years old and the drain is in a place where I could clean it myself. Appliance repairs are expensive. Tread lightly with this product.

I bought a Samsung refrigerator and the freezer door broke within two weeks. We opened the door no more than 5 times. Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. We bought a package of four Samsung appliances and two of the four did not work.
