I love the layout of this refrigerator. However, it has had problems. Thankfully we bought the extended warranty and had to use it twice. Our neighbor next door bought the same one a year after us and is also having problems. Water drips down the inside back of the refrigerator and freezes your deli drawer closed. My neighbor is not only having that problem but her ice maker is intermittent. If you love the inside of this refrigerator and have to have it make sure you get an extended warranty because you will be using it!!!

I did a lot of research on this fridge and read several reviews, used consumer reports, etc. they all gave this device a good rating. I think that Overall the fridge is ok. I thought that I would have a lot more room on the inside. It's difficult to fit tall items, even with the adjustable shelves. (Milk, pitcher of juice). I had a side by side last time and i think I like that better, I feel I could store a lot more things. I eat very earthly and have a lot of bulky food and it just doesn't for nicely. The drawers are good and the freezer has a lot of room.Now the things I really hate! The water and ice dispenser "splash a lot". I have hard wood floors, so it's annoying to have the water and ice end up in the floor.also. The inside sides of the doors are rusting...I didn't thing stainless steel would do this. I called Samsung and I was told this was cosmetic and it was not covered. What?? I've only had the fridge for 5 months and at 2500 bucks, this is not acceptable. The agent was friendly but said she was sorry. I asked to escalate the issue. Her supervisor is sending out a tech to replace the doors.Beware...don't take no for an answer!

Don't buy a Samsung refrigerator. The motor started making a humming noise that eventually got really loud. When I open the refrigerator doors the noise stopps but about 3 seconds after closing the doors the noise returns. It seems to come from the panel at the back of the inside. I did some research online and found MANY other people with the same problem. Turns out the coils behind the panel freeze and so the motor is working hard trying to still run. I even found repair videos on YouTube but when I tried to remove the panel I discovered it was frozen to the fridge. You should not have to manually defrost a 3 year old refrigerator but that is what I will have to do. So many other people said that the customer service from Samsung was not helpful that I won't bother contacting them about this.I had done research and thought I bought a good refrigerator but apparently not.

I am very unhappy with this unit. The motor is so loud you can hear it all over the house. The shelving design makes it impossible to fit items in, so the storage space is terrible. The metal of the doors is cheap and flimsy and dents very easily. The doors open smoothly. That's about all that is good about a Samsung. I would NOT recommend buying a Samsung product.
