Internal water line broke; water leaked all over hardwood floor and caused $5,000 in damage

You would think that they would select a higher-quality plastic for the internal water line on a $2500 refrigerator, but alas - after two weeks, the water line cracked (inside the refrigerator itself) and water spewed everywhere. Other than that, seems to work well, but the LG tech said that this is a common problem and has damaged a lot of floors. Of course, LG has thus far disclaimed any responsibility for the floors. Won't be purchasing from LG again.

So far (3 weeks) and I'm quite happy. Lots of storage space for a smaller fridge and quite adjustable. Water and ice work well. Very quiet, lots of adjustable small bins for veggies, multiple setting for larger drawer for various item types. Two tired drawer freezer is a great idea. Controls are easy to use.The hinged seal on the French doors looks like a possible weak point, especially if you have kids (or adults) who "fling" rather than gently close doors (or close right before left).Not spacious enough (it IS smaller, not a criticism) for a larger family. 2-3 people, perfect. Lots of kids, really won't work unless you're at the grocery store daily.

LG "Repaired" our refrigerator until it was conveniently out of warranty. Now,they won't replace it. HORRIBLE Customer Service

LG has HORRIBLE Customer Service. The ice maker on our fridge broke within six months of purchase. LG made us keep getting it "repaired" unsuccessfully so many times before they would consider replacement. They finally said they would replace it and to send them the information about all of the repairs. HOWEVER, they came back and said they couldn't replace it as it was OUT OF WARRANTY now!!!! Seems like a scam to me. Have it "repaired" until it is out of warranty, then they don't have to worry about it. Do not ever by an LG product!

Best refrigerator we've ever owned. We had a space limitation to work within and this refrigerator not only fit, but gave us 3 cuft more than our last refrigerator.
